Karan Deol gets engaged in private ceremony, may tie the knot next month

Bollywood actor Karan Deol, who made his acting debut with actor-father Sunny Deol's directorial 'Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas' in 2019, got engaged a couple of months ago in an intimate ceremony with his long-time girlfriend.

According to reports, the young actor exchanged rings with his ladylove on grandparents Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur's wedding anniversary.

The Pinkvilla reports suggested that the families have started with the wedding preparations in full swing. Deols are excited about the new celebration. It is believed that the couple will tie the knot next month, which is also expected to be a low-key affair.


While details of the soon-to-be Mrs Deol are still under wraps, the bride is said to be from a non-filmy industry. The groom is reportedly "happy" to receive the blessings from his family, who had gathered under one roof.

On Valentine's Day 2023, the 32-year-old was clicked in Dubai with a mystery girl. But, it wasn't known if she was his fiancée.

Last year, speculations suggested that Deol and film-maker Bimal Roy's great-granddaughter Drisha had an intimate engagement ceremony. Deol Jr's team released a clarification and shut down the engagement rumours. The team was quoted as saying to the media, "Karan and Drisha are childhood friends. The news about them getting engaged is not true."

On the work front, Deol made his acting debut after a brief stint as an assistant director for 'Yamla Pagla Deewana 2', which was released in 2013. He also starred in the 2021 film 'Velle', and will soon be seen in 'Apne 2', co-starring Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby Deol.

Recently, Deol's grandpa Dharmendra celebrated his 43rd marriage anniversary with step-grandmother Hema Malini. The actress-turned-politician thanked her fans for their heartfelt wishes.

Married in 1980, the couple share two daughters - Esha and Ahana - and have five grandchildren - who are Karan’s step-cousins.
