Karan Adani’s daughter has been named Anuradha

For the two heavyweight families of Gautam Adani and Cyril Shroff and first-time parents Karan and Paridhi, the task of naming tHe newborn has been completed. The baby girl, sources reveal, has been named Anuradha Karan Adani.

Whether the name was chosen by the immediate family or was a suggestion that came from outside, is anyone’s guess. The choice of name however is telling. Carrying the dual meaning of ‘bright star’ and ‘goddess of good fortune’, it ties in perfectly with the family’s belief in their good fortune at having a luminous star mark gen-next for them.

Born in Mumbai last week, Anuradha will stay at her maternal grandparents’ home for a little over a month, before leaving for the Adani residence in Ahmedabad.
