Parul Gulati was recently scammed by two of her workers
Actress and entrepreneur Parul Gulati has claimed that she was scammed by two employees at her Nish Hair store in Bengaluru. In a video shared on Instagram, Gulati revealed that she was forced to spend an entire day at a police station after uncovering an alleged financial fraud at her store. According to her, the store manager and a sales executive had been directing customers to transfer payments into their personal bank accounts rather than the company's official account. The shocking discovery prompted legal action and police involvement. The video opened with the caption stating that Bengaluru had treated her unfairly, reflecting her disappointment over the incident.

Gulati also revealed the pictures of the accused. She claimed that the sales executive with access to the store’s CCTV cameras, suddenly call in sick on the day of her inspection. The store manager reported to work.

According to Gulati, the store manager allegedly confessed to the fraudulent scheme while being questioned. She said he admitted that the misconduct began shortly after he joined the company. As she recalled, his explanation was that he started the operation about a month into the job. Gulati further claimed that he had spent his initial weeks learning the company's systems, payment processes, and day-to-day operations before allegedly using that knowledge to carry out the scam.

She revealed two employees sold products with Rs 15- Rs 20K daily but asked customers to transfer payments to their personal accounts.

“They sold my product, my packaging, through my name to the customer and then took the whole amount themselves..” she said.

Gulati further alleged that the store manager had been diverting company funds for nearly six months, resulting in inventory shortages and significant irregularities in the business's financial records. She claimed that the prolonged misappropriation created major discrepancies between the stock on hand and the accounts. According to Gulati, the store manager also allegedly confessed to embezzling approximately ₹8 lakh. She further stated that he personally told her the amount involved did not exceed ₹8 lakh, while alleging that the female sales executive connected to the case had not yet been located and was still absconding.
