According to TOI, which cited local media reports, the latest shooting took place early Thursday morning at the café located near 85 Avenue and Scott Road in Surrey. When police arrived, they found at least six bullet holes and broken glass windows at the scene. Locals told the press they were jolted awake by the sound of multiple gunshots.
This attack follows a previous shooting incident at the same café in early July, just days after it opened. In that case, bullets were fired while some staff were inside, but thankfully, no injuries were reported. No arrests have been made in either case, and the motive behind the violence remains officially unknown.
However, things took a darker turn this time when media reports revealed that the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang had allegedly claimed responsibility for Thursday’s attack. Authorities have not confirmed this claim yet, but the gang’s possible involvement has triggered fresh concerns in the region.
Kapil Sharma, best known for Comedy Nights with Kapil and The Kapil Sharma Show, has not yet made any public statement about the incident. The Surrey Police Service (SPS) continues to investigate the matter, with more updates expected soon.
