Kapil Sharma, Ginni Chatrath's wedding festivities begin with 'Akhand Path'

TV show host and comedian Kapil Sharma is all set to tie the knot with his long-time partner Ginni Chatrath in Jalandhar on December 12.
The bride's family kicked off the pre-wedding celebrations with an Akhand Path, and 'bangle ceremony' at their residence. Pictures from the functions were shared on social media by fans.
Sharma, who is currently wrapping the shooting of his upcoming show, will join the families in the city next week. A jagran will take place on Monday, and singer Richa Sharma along with Punjabi devotional singer Master Saleem are expected to perform.
Gurdas Maan, who also performed at Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's Delhi reception, is reportedly set to perform on the wedding.
According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the couple will host a reception in Amritsar on December 14 that will see a performance by singer Daler Mehndi. Sharma has reportedly also planned a reception in Mumbai for his industry colleagues.
The TV show host shared his wedding invite on social media a week ago.
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas hosted their reception in Delhi.
Just like their Jodhpur wedding, the Delhi reception was a fiercely-guarded event.
