Sharma said that 'banning someone or sacking Navjot Singh Sidhu from the show is not the solution'.
Kapil Sharma has landed in trouble once again, this time for coming to Navjot Singh Sidhu's defence. After Sidhu was sacked from 'The Kapil Sharma Show' following his remarks on the Pulwama attack, Sharma said that banning someone was not the solution.

Reacting to Sidhu's ouster from the show, he said, "These are very petty things, or can also be part of a propaganda. I feel banning someone or sacking Navjot Singh Sidhu from the show is not the solution. If removing Sidhuji would have been a permanent solution then he would have himself walked out of the show. We need to look for a permanent solution."

However, this did not go down well with Twitterati who is now demanding that 'Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karoon' actor also be sacked from the show. #BoycottKapilSharma has started trending on Twitter, with several fans slamming the comedian.
