Kapil Dev's motivation on World Broker's Day

Three 30-somethings banded together during the Lehman financial crisis, using the uncertainty as an opportunity. They set out to establish an technology solutions provider in the real estate space five years ago.

On Tuesday they celebrated 'World Brokers Day,' pushing their pet agenda of getting the broking space organised. And to motivate the assembled broker community they invited Kapil Dev. “We had heard him say once that the Indian cricket team of 1983 was like the Zimbabwe cricket team.



And then something happened. We know what that is (India won the cricket World Cup),” said Nirav Gosalia, director and cofounder, Realty Redefined. “We are trying to draw an analogy of what a broker needs to do.



What changes he needs to effect within his organisation and his personality, so that he wins the World Cup too,” he added.
