Kangana Ranaut turns 35, takes a chopper ride with sister to Vaishno Devi temple

Kangana Ranaut rang in her 35th birthday with a day dedicated to prayers and spirituality. The actress visited Vaishno Devi temple along with her sister, Rangoli Chandel to seek blessings on the occasion of her birthday, and shared photos of her wearing a blue kurta contrasted with red patiala salwar along with a yellow dupatta, covering her head.

The actress took to Instagram to share a photo of herself in the traditional outfit. In the photo, the ‘Queen’ star can be seen standing on a terrace posing with a lot of desi vibe. In the caption, she wrote, “Today on the occasion of my birthday day …. Visited Bhagwati Shri Vaishnodevi ji… with her and my parents blessings looking forward to this year.”

Ranaut also thanked her fans and well wishers for their love and blessings. She posted the caption with a heart emoji, and as soon as the photo was shared, several supporters of the actress jumped in to say, ‘happy birthday’ to her. So far, the photo has garnered 1.6 lakh likes.

Apart from Ranaut, her sister Chandel too shared photos and a video from the trip. In the video, Ranaut can be seen taking a helicopter ride through the hills in which the Vaishno Devi temple is situated. A photo posted by Chandel shows her with the actress as they go for an early morning ‘darshan’ at the temple.

In another photo shared on Chandel Instagram Stories, the two sisters appeared to be smiling in a selfie. Chandel wished Ranaut on her birthday in the photo caption, and called her ‘the light’ and an ‘inspiration’ whose love is ‘pure’. She also shared a beautiful sunrise photo from the hills of the Vaishno Devi temple.

Born in the small town of Himachal Pradesh as Bhambla, Ranaut made her first mark in Bollywood with her debut film, ‘Gangster’ in 2006. In more than 15 years following that the actress has managed to not only become one of the highest paid heroines in Bollywood, but also one of the most controversial ones.

In the work front, Ranaut will next be seen in ‘Dhaakad’ as Agent Agni alongside Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutta .Besides that, the actress also has the upcoming film, ‘Tejas’.
