Kangana Ranaut posts sun-kissed selfies to beat road-traffic boredom, takes pride in ‘never succumbing to vanity’
Ranaut recently made news for supporting Priyanka Chopra, who alleged she was sidelined by Bollywood.

In the pictures, the actress is seen sitting inside a car, with her long, curly hair open in all its frizzy glory. She sports a lacy, white kurta and a no-makeup look. The ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ star wrote she got stuck in traffic while travelling and to kill time decided to click some selfies. She left her post open ended and wrote, “Aab iss umar mein yeh bimari lag jaye toh (what if I am overcome by vanity at this age?)
Aaj airport jaate hue traffic bahut mila toh socha thoda apni khubsurati pe itra leti hoon … Kamiyaan mujhse bhi h… https://t.co/ZvhbP8JWDu
— Kangana Ranaut (@KanganaTeam) 1680071645000Recently, the ‘Queen’ actress made headlines as she came forward to support her ‘Fashion’ co-star and former friend Priyanka Chopra when the latter revealed that she was compelled to shift to the US for work, as she was getting sidelined by Bollywood due to some ‘beef’ with influential people. Taking to Twitter, Ranaut blamed director-producer Kara Johar for PeeCee’s exit from Bollywood. She wrote, “This is what @priyankachopra has to say about Bollywood. People ganged up on her, bullied her, and chased her out of the film industry. A self-made woman was made to leave India. Everyone knows Karan Johar had banned her.”
She went on to call KJo a “movie mafia Cruella, always looking for vulnerable outsiders as punchbags,” and said he was responsible for ruining the culture and environment of Bollywood, which was earlier more welcoming to outsiders like Amitabh Bachchan and SRK.
On the work front, Ranaut is busy with her next, the Indira Gandhi biopic ‘Emergency’. The film also marks her second attempt at direction after 'Manikarnika'.
