Kangana Ranaut claims her mother works at the farm for 7-8 hrs daily

In a rare moment of candidness, Bollywood ‘Queen’ Kangana Ranaut’ dropped a picture of her mother Asha working on the farm and wrote, “Yeh meri Mata ji hain roz 7-8 ghante kheti karti hain,” (This is my mother who works in the fields for 7 to 8 hours daily). She also stated that her mother is the epitome of plain living, and high thinking and does not like to eat out, go abroad, or visit film sets. She also stated that whenever anyone drops in a visit, asking for the ‘Tanu Weds Manu Star’, she greets them personally, and offers them tea and water.
A fan lauded her mother's simplicity and down-to-earth outlook, and wrote, “Even after being a millionaire, Kangana's mother works on the farm. Where do you find such simplicity?” Ranaut responded, that her mother is not rich because of her. She revealed that she hails from a family of politicians, bureaucrats, and entrepreneurs, and her mother had been a teacher for 25 years.
She also dropped some more bombs on the mistreatment she received from the film fraternity. Slamming her detractors as “bhikhari mafia,” she wrote, that many insiders declared her mad and tried to jail her when she refused to perform item dance numbers and be at the beck and call of heroes, calling it “arrogance”.

“ They called me names and declared me mad because I don't giggle and gossip like other girls or danced in weddings or went to heroes' rooms!! Is this the reason why someone should be targeted, harassed, or isolated?” read her post.

She also added, “I have spent everything I have for my upcoming film, I have nothing today, but when I see my mother working in the fields I feel I have everything. Kya bigadoge tum mera main yahan aayi hoon rakshshon ka safaya karne Mujhe apne liye kuch bhi nahi chahiye (what harm can you do to me, I have come here to destroy the devils, I don't want anything for myself)... haha, you can't blame me don't be shocked when heads roll... That's precisely why I am here."

The vast majority of Twitter users gushed over her mother's simple lifestyle. One wrote, "Great! It's really admirable! Inspiring! Another dropped a picture of her mother clad in a pink saree and wrote, "Ma'am, your mother is inspirational & adorable like our mothers. I still remember the Shine on her face when u collected your 4th NA (National Awards) . U both complete each other, do share her stories, we r eager to know more about the lady who is the fountain of strength behind her daughter."

However, one commented wryly, "beti naalayak hogi aur disasters degi toh maa ko yahi karna padega na," (if the daughter is so worthless and delivers disasters, the mother has to take up farming!)

Some also took offence to her trying to shame celebs who dance at weddings. Reacting to her post, one Twitter user wrote, "I guess Nobody is forcing u to dance in weddings though.

Another wrote, " Dancing in front of people is the same be it in weddings or in film sets or in any other program. And there is nothing cheap about this."On the work front, Ranaut is busy with her next project, an Indira Gandhi biopic, titled ‘Emergency’.
