The Chronicles of the 4.5 Gang – Streaming on Sony LIV
Directed by Krishand RK, this quirky and refreshing web series follows four village boys and a vertically challenged man as they try to organize their local temple festival. Their plan, however, runs into trouble when they clash with the local gangster who controls the milk and flower trade. Streaming from August 29.

Lokah - Netflix (tentatively)
Kalyani Priyadarshan’s superhero film Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra is a hit in theatres since its release on August 28, 2025. The film is currently running successfully in theatres. Directed by Dominic Arun and produced by Dulquer Salmaan, the film stars Kalyani and Naslen, with appearances by Tovino Thomas and others. Viewers have praised its visual effects and unique mix of Malayalam storytelling with superhero action. Fans are now waiting for its OTT release. Reports suggest Netflix has the rights, with a possible streaming date of September 26, 2025, in multiple languages including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada. An official confirmation is awaited.
