‘Kalinga’ OTT date announced: When and where you can watch this Telugu horror movie

Looking to get spooked this season? Mark the date October 2. That’s when ‘Kalinga’ will be arriving on OTT to induce goosebumps! The horror movie will be available for streaming on the popular OTT platform Aha. Aha has released the film's poster, featuring Dhruva with a weapon and a torch. The caption states, "Coming soon on Aha." According to reports, this film is set to premiere on the Aha platform on October 2.

Actor Dhruva expressed strong confidence in the success of Kalinga even prior to its release. During the film’s pre-release event in Hyderabad, he openly shared his thoughts and enthusiasm for the project. "I’ve poured immense effort into making Kalinga. I can assure everyone that those who watch it will not be disappointed in the slightest. The narrative, performances, and visuals will definitely captivate the audience," he stated. Dhruva also highlighted Preeti Sundar Kumar's role, describing it as a dream role that will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression. He further praised Sanjay Krishna, who plays the film’s primary antagonist, predicting that his outstanding performance will astonish audiences and propel him into greater recognition in the near future.

Helmed by actor-director Dhruva Vaayu, the movie chronicles the tale of Linga (Dhruva Vaayu), an orphan who hails from Kalinga, a remote village in Telangana. Linga is easy-going and battling alcohol addiction. He is in love with Paddu (Pragya Nayan). When Paddu becomes the target of Bali (Sanjay), the unruly brother of the village chief (Aadukalam Naren), a gap between them forms, and his life is turned upside down. Linga has to pay off his family's debts and thwart Bali's overtures in order to gain Paddu's hand in marriage. The plot depends on Linga's ability to overcome these obstacles, defend Paddu, and regain his honor.


Aside from Vaayu, the movie also stars actors such as Pragya Nayan, Laxman Meesala, Shiju, and others in important roles. Produced by Deepthi Kondaveeti and Pruthvi Yadav.
