Kaley Cuoco welcomes baby girl Philomena with fiancé Tom Pelphrey; her Insta post says “family officially complete”

The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco and her fiancé, Tom Pelphrey, are now a family of four! Cuoco announced the arrival of their second baby in an adorable Instagram post on October 14. They have named their daughter Philomena Carmine Bobby Pelphrey. She was born on October 12 and joins the couple’s 3-year-old daughter, Matilda.

“There are no words to describe this feeling once again. What a blessing,” she wrote. “We are so grateful for the crazy wild up and down journey that brought us to our little Philo,” she continued. “Family officially complete. Time to bring Matilda’s baby home," she added.

Cuoco also shared a message for Pelphrey, writing, “life exploded the minute we met, and the gifts keep coming. I love you forever, girl daddy!”

The actress also posted photos and videos of her newborn daughter on Instagram Stories. Sharing the Instagram post on stories image featured the words “She’s here!” over a photo of the baby. Another photo showed the couple’s older daughter, Matilda, wearing a T-shirt that read “Big Sister.” Cuoco captioned the picture, “Someone waiting at home for us!”

Cuoco first shared the news of her second pregnancy on Instagram in June 2025. Her announcement included family photos with Pelphrey and Matilda, as well as a cake that revealed they were expecting another girl.

The actress also shared pictures of her growing baby bump and a visit to the doctor for a sonogram. “completing our little family, what a dream come true !” Cuoco wrote in the caption.

She also opened up about the pregnancy, saying, “This second time around journey has been a little windier in many ways , but wow we are so grateful for this moment!! Little sissy on the way!!!”

Cuoco then addressed Pelphrey directly, writing, “girl dad for life and yes, the last pic is our dainty princess giving us the middle finger!”

The couple later celebrated the pregnancy with a fiesta-themed baby shower attended by friends, including actresses Lacey Chabert, Kimberly J. Brown, Amy Davidson and Ashley Jones.

Tom Pelphrey shares how the couple prepared for their second baby

Before Philomena's arrival, Pelphrey spoke about preparing for the new addition to their family in an interview with E! News at the 2026 Emmy Awards in September. “We’re both so excited. Our daughter’s excited. We’ll see how it goes when it actually gets there,” he said.

Pelphrey also explained how the couple were making changes at home ahead of the birth. He also said they were “switching rooms, swapping things around, and laughing at how different it is from one to two.”

He added, “The things that are new and the things that feel like not a big deal this time. But mom and baby are healthy, so God willing, that keeps up, and we’re thrilled.”
