During a conversation inside the Bigg Boss 20 house, Isha spoke about trying hard to make things work and how certain experiences changed her. She said "I tried really really hard. Kuch expereinces change kardete hai. Kabhi abhi aapka trust tootta hai, joh kuch bhi maine face kiya. It broke me. Pata nhi chala maine apni kahaani mai side character ban gyi. mujhe regret nahi hai."
Her emotional conversation came as Salman Khan also encouraged her to look ahead and move on. Isha’s entry into the reality show has naturally brought her personal life into focus, especially after her recent statement asking people not to believe unverified reports about her relationship.
What Isha said about her relationship
Before entering the Bigg Boss house, Isha had addressed the growing speculation surrounding her marriage. Earlier, she took to Instagram Stories and urged people to rely only on information shared by her directly or through her official social media accounts. She had expressed shock over reports about her marriage and separation and asked sections of the media not to circulate unconfirmed claims. Isha also requested the public not to believe everything they read or hear about her personal life unless it came directly from her.
Her comments came after months of rumours surrounding her relationship with Badshah. The rapper and actor eventually addressed the speculation through a joint statement, confirming that they had mutually decided to part ways. She said during her entry in Bigg Boss 20, "I want people to know who I am as Isha Rikhi and not by someone else's name. People know my existence but don't know who I am, what I am and how I am, and I want them to know every shade of Isha through this show,."
Badshah and Isha said their decision was made with mutual respect and asked everyone to respect their privacy. They also made it clear that the statement would be their only comment on the matter and requested people not to make further assumptions about their relationship.
From marriage confirmation to separation rumours
The speculation surrounding Badshah and Isha’s relationship gained momentum in July. Around that time, Isha shared a montage of pictures and videos featuring herself and Badshah on social media. Her caption about storms being lessons and prayers representing hope caught the attention of fans, with many wondering whether the post hinted at trouble in their relationship. The rumours grew further after Isha’s mother, Poonam Rikhi, shared a series of posts about karma. However, neither Isha nor Badshah immediately addressed the speculation.
Interestingly, Isha had only confirmed her relationship with Badshah a month earlier. During an Instagram Ask Me Anything session in June, she had confirmed that the two were married.
Their separation announcement eventually came as reports also linked Isha to Bigg Boss 20. Her entry into the show has now given viewers an opportunity to hear her side of the story, although she has not gone into every detail about what happened between the couple.
For Isha, the Bigg Boss house marks a new chapter at a particularly personal time. While she has acknowledged that the experiences she went through left her hurt and changed her outlook, her conversation with Salman suggests that the focus now is on moving forward rather than dwelling on the past.
Badshah, meanwhile, was previously married to Jasmine Masih. The former couple finalised their divorce in 2020 and have a daughter, Jessemy Grace Masih Singh, who was born in January 2017.
