Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan’s granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda has taken a new step into the entrepreneurship world. She has launched Naveli Ventures, a platform aimed at backing innovative startups and research-driven opportunities. Her new venture is going to explore emerging sectors including deep-tech, space technology, clean energy, artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing and healthcare. This move comes just months after Navya completed her blended MBA programme from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.

Navya shares vision behind Naveli Ventures

Navya announced the business venture on Instagram and revealed that the project has been in the works for quite some time. Sharing her vision behind Naveli Ventures, she highlighted that it has always been her wish to support ideas and businesses that could shape the future through technology, research and innovation.

Navya added that Naveli Ventures’ areas of interest include deep technology, space, clean energy, artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing and healthcare.

Naveli Ventures targets future-focused emerging sectors

Rather than limiting its role to providing financial backing, Navya claimed that Naveli Ventures aims to work closely with founders by offering industry relationships, expertise and long-term support.

Navya emphasised that the venture is focused on helping innovative companies scale and believes the initiative marks only the beginning of its larger journey.

The post received multiple reactions from the who's who of the Bollywood world. ‘Congratulations, my darling Navya!. So proud, wrote Karan Johar. Actress Shanaya Kapoor added a bunch of heart and evil eye emojis. ‘As always, so proud of you, Navya. Love you,’ wrote Navya’s mother Shweta Bachchan.
