July watch list: ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ vs ‘The Gray Man’. Which Hollywood film will charm Indians?

July started on a boom after the final episodes of 'Strange Things' season 4 was released on Netflix in the beginning of this month. But that's not the only release fans will get to witness from the west this month in India.
There is going to be some interesting action and drama packed content that's scheduled to come out this month. The much anticipated 'Thor: Love and Thunder', a Taika Waititi directorial is all set to hit the theatres on July 7, 2022.
Apart from this, all eyes are on 'The Gray Man' by film-maker Joe Russo and Anthony Russo. The film will be released on July 15 before it arrives on Netflix and other OTT platforms.
Before you mark your calendar, here's a look at what the upcoming films from Hollywood have in store for the audience.
'Thor: Love and Thunder' A rare Marvel fourth instalment for the God of Thunder, will hit theatres today. Produced by Kevin Feige-led Marvel Studios, 'Thor: Love and Thunder' will be released in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. The superhero film stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Christian Bale as Gorr the God Butcher. In the film, Thor attempts to find inner peace but he must now return to action and take the help of Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Waititi) and Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) to stop Gorr from killing all gods. The film will mark the debut of the Mighty Thor. Thor's ex Foster returns in this film after skipping the third instalment. Foster now has Thor's old magical hammer, Mjolnir and has now become a superhero of her own. The superhero film will also be released on OTT platforms.

'The Gray Man' The upcoming action thriller, 'The Gray Man', stars Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans and Dhanush. The film is based on the 2009 novel of the same name by Mark Greaney. The film is all set for limited release on July 15. The film will then start streaming on Netflix from July 22. It will also arrive on other OTT platforms. The film tracks the journey of the CIA's most skilled mercenary known as Court Gentry, aka Sierra Six, who accidentally uncovers dark agency secrets and becomes the primary target. He is then hunted around the world by psychopathic former colleague Lloyd Hansen and international assassins.
