Jr NTR mobbed at Hyderabad airport as excited fans gather to welcome 'RRR' star after Oscar 2023 win

After a successful visit to the Oscars 2023, 'RRR' superstar Jr. NTR returned to India Tuesday night to a huge crowd of well-wishers and fans, eager to congratulate the actor for the Academy Awards victory.
However, the minute Jr. NTR walked out of the Hyderabad airport with his wife Lakshmi Pranathi, the crowd went out of control as desperate fans tried to catch a glimpse of the actor.
In several videos that are currently making the rounds of the Internet, we see a sea of fans mobbing the star, one of the highest paid actors in Telugu film industry, as they gather around to welcome him.
It's a moment of celebration among Indians as SS Rajamouli's 'RRR' made the country proud by bagging an Oscar for the film's dance hit number 'Naatu Naatu' which won the Best Original Song title.
In the videos circulating on social media platforms, we see fans gathered around the airport, flashing posters of 'RRR' and Jr. NTR along with flags of the film. Apart from fans, the actor was also mobbed by the paparazzi as the 39-year-old made way to his car.
However, the 'RRR' actor made light of the situation and popped out of his car's rooftop to wave and blow kisses to fans and media as they cheered congratulatory wishes.
Before driving away from the airport, Jr. NTR told the media that he feels “very proud of ‘RRR’”.
"Seeing MM Keeravaani and Chandrabose accepting the Oscar award was the best moment. I feel very proud of RRR. I want to thank every Indian for encouraging RRR, this award (Oscar) that we’ve won has only been possible with the love of the audience and the film industry," the actor said, as quoted by ANI.
The joyously energetic anthem 'Naatu Naatu' was written by MM Keeravani, lyrics by Chandrabose.
