TMZ reported on Friday, October 30, that the 74-year-old North Carolina football coach and his 25-year-old girlfriend had “quietly” ended their romance in late 2025. People Magazine also confirmed that they have parted ways but remain close friends.

TMZ said her relationship status is unclear, citing a source, but she “has started seeing other people.” And some fans on social media seem to have come up with an unexpected name for her alleged new boyfriend: college football legend Lee Corso.

While initially breaking the story, TMZ did not reveal the identity of anyone Hudson might be seeing, but fans on social media have been busy coming up with their own theories. One post that caught attention came from an account on X.

“Plot twist: Jordon Hudson's new boyfriend is Lee Corso,” the account wrote, naming the 91-year-old colleague and football legend.


Other fans joined in with their own reactions. One user wrote, “If they can't make it, what hope do we have?” Another user joked, “In a statement Bill Belichick said, 'she's too old for me.'”

A separate user posted, “If those two crazy kids can't make it, what chance do the rest of us have?”

Another fan, meanwhile, linked the breakup to North Carolina's football fortunes, writing, “No wonder UNC started winning. A lesson here.”


According to TMZ, the two have continued to appear together in public and remain professionally connected. The report said they are “committed to their business partnerships and remain close friends.”
