'Jolly LLB 2' trailer review: Akshay Kumar looks promising in this courtroom drama

The wait is over!

Akshay Kumar-Huma Qureshi starrer ' Jolly LLB 2' trailer is out. The film that revolves around the life of a small-time lawyer trying to make his mark in the big, bad world, has Akshay as a blunt, abrasive and yet oddly compassionate lawyer Jagdishwar Mishra aka Jolly.

The 2-minute-37 second long trailer starts with a scene that depicts Jolly's lack of seriousness towards his job. He is seen asking a witness, "Kya aap bata sakte hain ki Salman Khan ki shaadi kab hogi?" It gradually moves on to establish the character of Jolly as a lawyer with no scruples, one who only aspires to earn big bucks. However, Jolly undergoes a transformation of sorts when he is faced with an all-important case.The trailer that stars on a humorous note leaves behind a serious undertone towards the end. The star of the story is, of course, Akshay who leaves you cracking with his one-liners and handles the serious scenes with equal adroitness.

The second instalment of the hit franchise has been directed by Subhash Kapoor and stars Huma Qureshi, Annu Kapoor, Manav Kaul and Saurabh Shukla in pivotal roles. The film hits theatres on February 10, 2017.
