Where to watch Rango for free

Rango is now available to stream for free on Tubi. The platform offers the film with ads, allowing viewers to watch it without a paid subscription.

The movie first arrived in theatres in 2011 and went on to become both a commercial and critical success. It later won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, making it one of the most celebrated animated films of its time.

What is Rango about?

The story follows Rango, a sheltered pet chameleon voiced by Johnny Depp, whose ordinary life changes after he ends up alone in the Mojave Desert. He eventually reaches the struggling town of Dirt, where he creates a new identity as a fearless gunslinger.

Things take an unexpected turn when the town mistakes him for a hero and names him sheriff. As Rango tries to live up to his own tall tales, he gets pulled into a mystery involving the town's disappearing water supply while slowly discovering who he really is.
