Jimmy Kimmel roasts Kanye West, says Will Smith should’ve saved his slap for the Grammys

Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel didn’t hold back on his thoughts about Kanye West and Bianca Censori’s shocking Grammys appearance. In his Feb. 3 monologue on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the comedian suggested that if Will Smith had slapped Kanye West instead of Chris Rock, he might already be back hosting the Oscars.

“Another rodent came out of his hole to hit the red carpet at the Grammys last night—none other than Kanye West,” Kimmel quipped, taking a jab at the rapper’s latest public spectacle. “He showed up with his wife, who caused quite a stir. She was wearing… nothing.”

Kimmel pointed out that Smith, who is banned from the Oscars for a decade after his infamous 2022 slap, was at the Grammys to honor music legend Quincy Jones. And in a moment of comic genius, Kimmel mused:


“All he had to do was run out on that red carpet and slap Kanye. I think all would be forgiven. He would be hosting the Oscars next year.”

While Smith refrained from any physical outbursts this time, Kimmel noted that the Grammys seemed unbothered by controversy, unlike the Oscars, which is still reeling from the slap-gate scandal.

Bianca’s Outfit—or Lack Thereof—Continues to Spark Debate

The internet hasn’t stopped buzzing about Bianca Censori’s barely-there outfit, which consisted of a sheer, skin-tight dress and high heels, revealed after she dramatically dropped her oversized fur coat. A professional lip reader claimed West encouraged her to “make a scene,” while a body language expert suggested Censori showed signs of “fear” during the reveal.

Insiders close to West even alleged that Censori wanted to back out of the stunt but was pressured by her husband to go through with it.
