Jhulan Goswami hangs up her boots: Anushka Sharma pens special note; Virat Kohli calls her a 'great servant' of Indian cricket
The former India skipper has had a successful 20-yr-long international career.

The actress will portray the outstanding journey of Goswami in her upcoming film 'Chakda Express'.
Taking to Instagram, the 'Phillauri' star called Goswami an 'inspiration', 'role-model' and a 'legend' - alongside a bunch of the sportstar's pictures. "Your name will be etched in history forever. Thank you Jhulan for being a game changer in Indian Women's Cricket," she added.
Directed by Prosit Roy, Sharma's upcoming biopic on Goswami will stream exclusively on Netflix. The official release date is still awaited.
The 34-year-old was last seen in 'Zero' opposite Shah Rukh Khan, which was released in 2018. This is the first time Sharma will be portraying the role of a cricketer in her career and she announced her return to movies at the beginning of 2022. The movie is being produced by the actress' brother Karnesh Sharma under his production banner Clean Slate Filmz.
On the other hand, Team India batsman Virat Kohli called the legendary pacer a 'great servant of Indian cricket'.
Kohli congratulated Goswami on a stellar international career and said the pacer has always stood out due to her aggression on the field. He also praised Goswami for inspiring many women to take up the sport through grit and determination.
"Congratulations on an outstanding career, inspiring so many women to take up the sport. Your grit and aggression always stood out. I wish you the very best, out. I wish you the very best," the 33-year-old wrote on Twitter.

However, the legendary pacer was dismissed for a golden duck in her final innings. The star pacer has played 12 Tests, 204 ODIs and 68 T20Is for India. She has taken 44, 253 and 56 wickets respectively in the formats.
