Jennifer Lopez introduces daughter Emme with gender-neutral pronouns, netizens accuse her of child abuse

Recently, the songwriter introduced her daughter, Emme, using gender-neutral pronouns at a public event.
Before singing a cover of Christina Perri's 'A Thousand Years', JLo referred to her 14-year-old daughter as 'them' and 'they' during the 6th Annual Blue Diamond Gala hosted by Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation.

Emme also joined JLo for a verse of Bruce Springsteen's 'Born in the USA' and the intro of her hit 'Let's Get Loud'.
Emme is one of JLo and her former husband Marc Anthony's twins. Before this, the two had performed in the Super Bowl halftime in 2020.
While she has been receiving a lot of praise for her forward-thinking, some fans also accused her of child abuse. Some went on to say that she was confusing her teenage daughter.
