Jennifer Lopez & Alex Rodriguez deny break-up reports, say they're working through some things

The movie star and the real estate tycoon met at LA’s Mocambo nightclub in October 1949. A year later they were married in Beverly Hills, with MGM picking up the tab for the actor’s lavish wedding. Within 205 days of their wedding the couple got divorced. An 18-year-old Taylor won the divorce on grounds of mental cruelty and refused alimony.

The supermodel and the real estate developer met at the Telluride ski resort in Colorado in 1994, when the two of them survived a helicopter crash. Brinkley was married to Billy Joel at the time. Eight months after the crash, Brinkley and Taubman married near the site of the crash and announced at their wedding that they were expecting a child. Their marriage ended a year later.

The football player and the reality TV star married on July 4, 2012 after dating for a couple of years. On August 11, Johnson was arrested on grounds of domestic battery, after headbutting Lozada during an argument. The athlete was released from Miami Dolphins soon after. On August 14, Lozada filed for divorce which was finalised on September 19. Johnson entered a plea of no contest for his charges and received a year of probation.

The Kardashian and Humphries marriage lasted all of 72 days, but the divorce proceedings went on for months. The reality TV celebrity and the NBA star met in 2011 while Kardashian was filming her show. After a quick engagement that lasted 90 days, the couple was married in a star-studded, widely-televised ceremony. At the time of the divorce coming through, Kardashian was expecting a child with her rapper boyfriend Kanye West.

The Italian power couple - one the leader of a hugely successful fashion house and the other a businessman -divorced within a year of being married. The couple was married in 2004 and were divorced by 2005. Despite speculation, little is known behind the couple’s decision to part ways. Versace has two children with her first husband Paul Beck.
