Social-media shy Jennifer Aniston broke the Internet as she made her debut on Instagram. The 50-year-old's epic, first post - that gave 'Friends' fans a glimpse of what a reunion of the hit sitcom would look like - has garnered 7.8 million likes.
Aniston's picture, featuring former co-stars Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer, sent fans into an overdrive, and reportedly crashed the app for a while.
"And now we're Instagram 'FRIENDS' too. HI INSTAGRAM," Aniston captioned the picture.
The actress, whose bio reads "My friends call me Jen", has 6.1 million followers, and is following 109 accounts including ex-husband Justin Theroux.
Aniston received a warm welcome from her industry colleagues, as her post was flooded with messages from them.
Cox shared a throwback picture with Aniston, writing, "Hi Jen! Welcome to the social media world...it sucks. You're gonna love it!."
Schwimmer channelled 'Ross' as he welcomed 'Rachel' to the 'gram.
Actress Jennifer Garner also turned to a Lego-depiction of the 'Friends' set for her Instagram post.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of 'Friends', that ran for ten seasons from 1994 to 2004.
