Madhuri steps in to play Sridevi's role in 'Shiddat', Janhvi thanks actress
The film is being directed by Abhishek Varman.

Late actor Sridevi was all set to star in Abhishek Varman's film produced by Karan Johar. Varman's debut film as a director was '2 States'.
Janhvi Kapoor today took to Instagram to personally thank Madhuri Dixit for stepping into her mother's shoes for the film. Reportedly, the film boasts of an ensemble cast.

She shared a photo of Sridevi and Madhuri with a caption stating, "Abhishek Varman’s next film was very close to mom’s heart ....Dad, Khushi and I are thankful to Madhuriji for now being a part of this beautiful film...."
