Recalling the day they received the heartbreaking news, the actress said that as soon as Khushi saw her, she stopped crying and instead began comforting her. That shift, she noted, stayed with her, as she has rarely seen Khushi openly express her grief since then.
In a recent candid chat with Raj Shamani, Janhvi spoke in detail about their bond and how it has evolved over the years. She explained that both sisters have taken turns being each other’s support system. Sometimes Khushi has stepped into a protective, almost parental role, while at other times, Janhvi has done the same for her. She described herself as someone who expresses emotions easily, while Khushi tends to keep her feelings inside.
According to Janhvi, this tendency to hold back emotions may have had an impact on Khushi’s health. She shared that her sister tried to stay strong for the family, suppressing her grief instead of expressing it. Over time, this emotional strain reportedly showed up physically, as Khushi developed thyroid-related issues. Janhvi mentioned that the condition fluctuated between hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism but is now under control.
