Chef Saurabh Udinia of Masala Library will join hands with Chef Jutamas “Som” Theantae of Karmakamet Conveyance.

When asked if the coronavirus scare has affected any plans, Udinia, head chef at Masala Library told ET Panache, “The current scenario seems safe. It is only the chaos that has been created rather than there being any sort of acute emergency. We will be taking precautionary measures at both Delhi and Bangkok airports by wearing masks at both locations. I believe it is going to be safe, as there, the normal life is the way it is. They are facing a lack of tourism because of this coronavirus scare. We will definitely be traveling there as per our schedule and will be doing Masala Library's pop-up.” According to the restaurant’s communication team, four chefs will be travelling from Massive Restaurants by Zorawar Kalra for the Bangkok pop-up.

The chefs are set to serve up some delectable dishes. The 10 courses menu will represent the cuisine of the Indian restaurant that finds inspiration from across the various culinary traditions in the country along with Chef Som’s dishes “which reflect personal memoirs of time spent studying art and discovering her passion for cooking in India.”

The menu will include such dishes as jhal moorie cookie, dahi vada, naga pork, stewed bamboo and mizo beans, caviar malai prawns, pink peppercorn, wok-tossed mussels and squid, smoked black cod and Kalimpong cheese mousse, Thai black rice crisp, bamboo steamed chicken, blood rice, and jalebi caviar.
