Jaitley presents Budget 2018, Twitter rolls over with Taimur, Aamir Khan jokes

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Thursday presented the National Democratic Alliance government's last Budget, which is the last before the General Elections.

Clad in a white kurta with a black Nehru jacket, Jaitley switched between Hindi and English as he listed out his Government's achievements. And while analysts and critics were quick to call it a Budget-with-an-eye-on-the-polls, Twitterati, as is wont, went into its own zone. Social media, naturally, had its own perspective to offer as they saw the FM present the report card.

And it began with a gentle nudge towards our sleepy parliamentarians
