Actor Ranveer Singh has kicked up a storm for a 'sexist' billboard ad in a Jack and Jones campaign. The billboard ad, which shows a woman flung over Singh's shoulders with the caption 'Don’t hold back. Take your work home.', has been termed as insensitive.

The ad features the actor, all decked up in formals, lifting a woman on his shoulders. A butler is seen in the background, sporting a smirk.

After five days, Ranveer Singh has given a statement via Yash Raj Films which is producing his forthcoming film, ' Befikre'. He has apologised, saying that the ad was misunderstood.
