It's splitsville! Sushmita Sen and Rohman Shawl call it quits after 3 years of dating

The three-year-long romance between Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen and her model-boyfriend Rohman Shawl has ended.

The actress took to Instagram to confirm the rumours on Thursday.

Alongside an adorable picture with Shawl, the 46-year-old star said that the duo will continue to remain friends.


The 'Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya' actress revealed that their relationship was long over, but they still love each other. "We began as friends, we remain friends," she wrote.

She used various hashtags - #NoMoreSpeculations #LiveAndLetLive #CherishedMemories #Love and #Friendship - in her social media post on Instagram.

For some time, the media had been speculating that the couple had ended their relationship after dating for about three years. The frequency of their adorable posts on social media had also reduced drastically.

Shawl also shared Sen's post on his Instagram page.

The former Miss Universe, who is a single parent, shared another post on Insta after the big reveal. It read, "Peace is beautiful!"

Sen adopted her first child in 2000 and second daughter in 2010. She named them Renee (24) and Alisah (12).

On the work front, the actress has received a lot of appreciation for the sequel to her web series 'Aarya'. The Emmy-nominated series marks Sen's return to mainstream acting after a decade.

Director Ram Madhvani's crime-thriller, which can be streamed on Disney+ Hotstar, is an official adaptation of the Dutch drama 'Penoza' by Pieter Bart Korthuis.

The actress is best known for movies such as 'Biwi No 1', 'Aankhen', 'Filhaal', 'Samay' and 'Main Hoon Na'.
