Days after Google I/O ended, premium smartphone manufacturer Apple announced its annual developer conference.

On its website, the Cupertino-based company announced that the 2022 Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will be held between June 6 and June 10.

Calling all coders, the conference will start with a 'Special Event' for developers and students at Apple Park on June 6. It will comprise the keynote, all-new Developer Center, Platforms State of the Union videos among other things. This event will give the developer community a chance to connect in person with Apple engineers and experts.

The event will be streamed online too.

According to GSM Arena, there will also be in-person attendance, but with a limited audience. The opening keynote will still be pre-recorded, but the Apple Park at 1 Infinite Loop in Cupertino will open its doors to a limited number of developers.

All attendees are expected to "follow Apple's health and safety protocols". Meaning, that the people attending the event will have to provide a negative Covid test, dated three days before the event. However, masks are optional. Once they are in, they will get a tour around the facilities of the new Developer Center at Apple Park.
