Back in February, the 'Stranger Things' creators Duffer brothers (Matt and Ross) confirmed that the famed series will end with season five.
Set in the 1980s, the series is based in the fictional town of Hawkins in Indiana, US, where a secret government lab accidentally opens a door to another dimension, referred to as the 'upside down'. An alien entity from the parallel dimension is trying to enter this universe and wreak havoc.
The show stars Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery and Maya Hawke in pivotal roles.
Produced by Monkey Massacre Productions & 21 Laps Entertainment, the Duffer Brothers are also serving as executive producers alongside Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen, Iain Paterson and Curtis Gwinn.

If reports are to be believed, the 'Stranger Things' universe will expand further with a live-action spin-off series based on an original idea by the Duffer Brothers.
