It's business as usual for Chanda Kochhar at India Economic Summit in Mumbai

Banker Chanda Kochhar is no stranger to the limelight. In the last couple of weeks though, she would have preferred to shun the unflattering spotlight on her and husband, Deepak Kochhar.

Between handling the fallout of the news, and the impending annual results for the private bank she heads, it must be a busy phase. She did make time though to put in an appearance at the India Economic Summit in Mumbai last week.


The event was organised by India Foundation and Bombay Stock Exchange.

According to its website, India Foundation is an independent research centre and counts among its directors top BJP brass like Suresh Prabhu, Nirmala Sitharaman, Jayant Sinha and Ram Madhav Varanasi as well as Shaurya Doval (National Security Advisor Ajit Doval’s son).
