It's an Istanbul wedding for Goenka-Narang families

When a real estate heir weds a hospitality heiress, wedding preparations will be expectedly elaborate, read, long.

Yash Goenka, son of realtor Pramod Goenka and jewellery designer Bina Goenka, is celebrating his wedding to Natasha Narang, daughter of Poonam and Ramesh Narang (of the Ambassador Hotel, Mumbai, fame) in Istanbul, Turkey. The couple got engaged in August last year in Mumbai and a lavish wedding has been anticipated since.

The wedding celebrations started on May 25 at Ciragan Palace, Kempinski and will go on till May 30. The invite asks guests to bring along ample good wishes and blessings.

Earlier in the month, the couple decked out in complete wedding finery for a registry function at a five star hotel in central Mumbai.The groom's sister Avanti congratulated the couple with an enthusiastic message on Instagram, “Congratulations to my closest friend, the most loving person I have ever met on registering to marry my brother, my favourite person in the world.“ Pre-wedding functions like mehendi and chuda ceremony preceded the registry.
