It's a girl! Tennis icon Serena Williams welcomes second child with husband Alexis Ohanian

Tennis icon Serena Williams has welcomed her second daughter with partner Alexis Ohanian.

Ohanian shared the joyous news with his followers on Instagram. Sharing a picture of the newborn baby girl, he penned an emotional tribute to his wife and their growing family. Referring to Williams as a GMOT (Greatest Mother Of All Time), he wrote, “Welcome, Adira River Ohanian. I'm grateful to report our house is teaming with love: a happy & healthy newborn girl and a happy & healthy mama. Feeling grateful. @serenawilliams you've now given me another incomparable gift — you're the GMOAT!”

In the picture, Ohanian can be seen staring adoringly at his wife who is holding the baby close, and his elder daughter. The post went viral, gaining more than 154K likes.

Several fans and well-wishers flooded the comment section, congratulating the proud parents. “Welcome, Adira!!! From all your aunties and uncles around the world. Congrats, Mom, Dad, and Sissy,” wrote one Instagram user. Another commented, “You're officially a girl dad, congratulations to you and your beautiful wife.. it's a family of four!”

Williams married Ohanian in 2017. That same year they welcomed their daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr.
