It's a fresh opportunity for those starting out, says Dabur India's Amit Burman
Industrialist and Dabur India Vice Chairman Amit Burman on what millionaires migrating out of India means for the country.

Burman, however, feels that the report should be looked at positively. "People are making their money and moving out for whatever reasons, for a better quality of life. But, this creates fresh opportunity for those just starting out," he says.
In sheer figures, here is how the millionaire club in India is expanding. In 2014, there were 2,26,800 millionaires or high net worth individuals (HNWIs) in India, as per the report. This number went up by 66,200 from 2013. According to the report published last year, in 2013, there were 1,60,600 HNWIs in India.
Personally, Burman is betting on the potential of the Indian market. He is pleased with the way his own company Lite Bite Foods, that runs restaurant chains such as Punjab Grill and Baker Street, has grown in seven years. Notwithstanding the forays abroad, his roots and Dabur India's legacy are factors strong enough to keep this billionaire from sailing out to foreign shores for good.
