‘Ishq Mein Marjawan’ actor Kushal Punjabi found dead; Gauahar Khan, Baba Sehgal pay tributes

Television actor Kushal Punjabi who was last seen playing the role of Danny in the TV show ‘Ishq Mein Marjawan’ has passed away. He was 37. According to Times Now, the police has recovered a suicide note from the apartment.

News agency ANI in a tweet said that the actor was “found hanging at his Pali Hill residence”. The tweet also said that further investigation is underway.

Kushal’s friend and fellow actor Karanvir Bohra took to Instagram to pay tribute to the . actor.


In a heartfelt post, Karanvir, who was last seen in the 12th season of reality show ‘Bigg Boss’, wrote: “Ur demise has shocked the hell out of me.I'm still in denial.(sic) I'm gonna miss you so much #kushlani” Bohra also elaborated on how Kushal had inspired him and hoped that he is in a happier place now.

The television industry woke up to the shocking news of the tragic demise of the actor and paid tributes to him on social media.

The news left several stars from the television industry in shock and tributes poured in on Karanvir’s Instagram post..

Actor-producer Vikaas Kalantri wrote, “Wait what ????? When did this happen. Really really sad. Can’t believe this. May his soul rest in peace �������� shocked”.

Actor and host Ravi Dubey posted a shocked, “What?????”, on the post, while actor Karan Patel, too, was in disbelief and asked “When did this happen ??”

TV actress Shweta Tiwari of ‘Kausautii Zindagii Kay’ fame also expressed shock, writing, “What??? Oh my god! When? And how?”

In addition to starring in ‘Ishq Mein Marjawan’, the actor had also participated in reality shows like ‘Fear Factor’ and ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7’.

He was earlier seen in television shows like ‘Love Marriage’, ‘CID’, ‘Dekho Magar Pyaar Se’, ‘Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa’, ‘Yeh Dil Chahe More’, ‘Kasam Se’, ‘Sssshhh... Phir Koi Hai’.

Kushal was married to Audrey Dolhen and the couple have a son, Kian.
