Scientists, especially two astrophysicists from Harvard, have said that its non-gravitational acceleration is proof of the Oumuamua being an alien spacecraft.
Now, now…please behave. Hey, what did you think I was doing? That’s just the name of something.
Oh really? Of what? We’re not sure. Just imagine a giant cigar flying through space.
What do you mean? It’s an interstellar object passing through the solar system.
If you know that, then what are you not sure about? Whether it might be an alien aircraft.
This is some flight of your fancy. No, let me explain.

Facts only, please, no explanations. Okay. The Oumuamua was detected last year. It is a longish object that is not a comet or an asteroid. It travels at a high speed, and was tumbling through space, across our solar system. It passed around 170 million miles away from earth.
Interesting. Carry on. Now, it had seems to have moved off course at a point, some kind of a push off, unlike something caused by gravity. Scientists, especially two astrophysicists from Harvard, have said in a recent paper that this non-gravitational acceleration is proof of the Oumuamua being an alien spacecraft.
Not quite conclusive, right? Not at all. In fact another project that tried to detect radio waves or other communication signals from the object found nothing. That doesn’t rule out anything either though. The aircraft may be in stealth mode.
Aha! So no chance of a closer look now? Not really, it’s kind of gone past us. By the way, Oumuamua was originally named Rama – you remember that novel, 'Rendezvous with Rama' by Arthur C Clarke?

So this name, Oumuamua, is Hawaiian I guess. Yes. And it means a messenger from distance, or something similar.

The space suit that helped Mark Watney survive Mars was the result of the filmmaker's collaboration with NASA to design the costume. While it was quite close to the real deal, the movie suits are slimmed-down and less puffy. Director Ridley Scott also reportedly liked the idea of using orange in the suits, given the reddish-orange hue of Mars.

The 1998 science fiction film actually used realistic suits when the characters were training in a dive tank at NASA. They were later seen in NASA's Advanced Crew Escape Suit during the launch. However, the suits they wore while on the asteroid are fictional - designed for ground missions, carrying thrusters to keep spacemen grounded in a low-gravity environment.

Cooper and his team of astronauts explored the deep space and unknown worlds wearing space suits that ook plausible and realistic. The suits have forearm-mounted thrusters which help astronauts brake when jumping off planetary cliffs. However, the suits don't feature any tank large enough to store a reasonable amount of compressed gas that is used in the thrusters.

When Tony Stark joined the Guardians of the Galaxy, he created a sophisticated armour that could withstand space and all the action up there. This armour is powered by numerous Repulsor Tech cores, like the one once implanted in Stark's chest. It is equipped with a new AI called PEPPER that can take over the suit in case of an emergency. It also has the 'Stark Omniversal Multitasking Software', which allows its user to control other suits of armour located on Earth from light years away.

Considered as one of the greatest science fiction films, '2001: A Space Odyssey' had astronauts wearing colourful space suits made of a loose, rubbery material that straps to a device on the chest and a helmet with an extended point. Interestingly, the movie space suits resemble the blue spacesuit of astronauts on Boeing's Starliner spacecraft, which combines a retro flare with a modern feel.

As mission specialist Ryan Stone struggled to survive a space disaster in 'Gravity', the movie's depiction of space suits and physics of space is probably the closest to reality. The movie does take some liberties though, like Stone could suit up quite easily, and never needed a cooling garment, when in fact real suits like these are more complicated.
