Irrfan Khan tweets about rare disease, promises to share more details in few days

Actor Irrfan Khan reveals a chapter from 'his suspenseful life'.

In a heartbreaking post, the 51-year-old actor shared that he has been detected with a rare disease that has shaken him up for the last fifteen days. However, he didn't disclose details about the ailment.

Furthermore, he requested his fans to not speculate anything about the disease until a conclusive diagnosis. "I will myself share with you my story within a week - ten days (sic), Till then, wish the best for me," he added.

The first trailer of Irrfan Khan-starrer, 'Blackmail' is atypical at its best.

Last month, the news reports suggested that the actor was diagnosed with a severe case of jaundice. Khan has been advised bed rest by the doctors, according to a release by his spokesperson.

The actor was scheduled to start the promotions of his next release "Blackmail" after the release of its first trailer in February.

He will start shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj's next and "Hindi Medium 2" after recovery.
