IPL 2023: Shah Rukh Khan & Virat Kohli get grooving on the field after KKR beat RCB

When Bollywood and cricket met and the world stopped.

After an intense IPL 2023 match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's presence on the field on Thursday was a double bonus for the fans present at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

Basking in the glory of his 'Pathaan' success, the superstar was being his usual self, blowing kisses and waving to his fans after his team KKR won the match against RCB by 81 runs.




After casting a spell over the spectators at the stadium, the actor spent quality time interacting with the players, including former RCB skipper Virat Kohli, on the field.

The official handle of RCB shared pictures from their warm exchange, and several images and videos from Thursday's after-game celebration went viral.


SRK welcomed Kohli with a warm hug and convinced him to try the hook steps of his 'Jhoome Jo Pathaan' song from his blockbuster 'Pathaan'. Kohli loves dancing so this was a once-in-a-blue-moon opportunity for fans to catch the glimpse of two Kings ruling the IPL field.




KKR also shared a string of images from SRK's candid interactions on the field.



SRK was accompanied by his daughter Suhana and Sanjay Kapoor's daughter Shanaya for the IPL match. The team's co-owner and actress Juhi Chawla also cheered the KKR boys, dressed in purple and gold, on during their big win over the RCB.

Speaking to the news agency ANI, Juhi expressed happiness over the win. "I'm very happy with our team's performance. I just hope and pray that all our matches end like this. Every seat at Eden Gardens was occupied. Let's make the finals this year, let's be champions," she added.
