It's finally here! The Apple iPhone 15 line-up, which was revealed on September 13, is going on sale today in India and other markets, as was announced by the Cupertino-based tech giant during their launch event.

The new Apple smartphones will be available in stores starting at 8 a.m., and those who have pre-ordered them can pay in full and pick them up at the store. Here’s a look at the iPhone 15 variants, their specs & prices:

Specs: iPhone 15 Pro & iPhone 15 Pro Max

Both the 15 Pro and Pro Max come with Super Retina XDR displays that support ProMotion. These new displays support always-on functionality and iOS 17's new StandBy mode.


The A17 Pro chip is at the heart of these latest Pro version iPhones, providing unrivalled performance and even challenging high-end PCs. Apple envisions a gaming experience that, when combined with a new GPU, has the potential to transform mobile gaming.

These iPhones also house Apple's best camera systems yet. Among the camera lenses provided on these phones is an upgraded 48-megapixel camera, optimized for low-light photography, reduced lens flare, and AI-driven full-res HEIF photos.

Further, the shift to USB-C from the traditional Lightning port not only facilitates faster charging but also introduces 10Gbps transfer speeds, making data transfer a breeze.

The 'Action Button', which replaces the usual ringer button on the left side of the iPhone Pro, is another new feature. Users can use this configurable button to run shortcuts, access accessibility features, engage the camera, turn on the torch, and much more.

Apple encourages customers to go beyond the normal ringer switch feature and explore its full capabilities.

Apple has enhanced the user experience by adding Dynamic Island technology in the iPhone 15 base model, which was originally seen on iPhone 14 Pro line-up.

The dual SIM (Nano) iPhone 15 features a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with Ceramic Shield material for improved durability. This display can reach peak brightness levels of up to 2000 nits, and the device is dust and water-resistant (IP68).

The iPhone 15 Plus, on the other hand, features a bigger 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display.

On the camera front, the iPhone 15 series, unlike its predecessor, includes a 48-megapixel wide-angle camera with a 2um quad-pixel sensor and an f/1.6 aperture as its primary shooter.

A 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera with an aperture of f/1.6 and sensor-shift stabilisation is also featured. A 12-megapixel TrueDepth sensor is used for selfies and video calls.
