iOS16 will let you remove background from any image on iPhone, share it anywhere
Apple’s latest update is expected to be released around September 2022.

Customizable lock screen, upgrades to Messages, and notifications are among the main highlights of the new update. However, another feature has generated considerable excitement among iPhone users. The ability to drag a subject from the background of an image has impressed many Apple fans.
The new feature is seamlessly integrated across the operating system making the new feature effortless to execute. Users can access the feature in the Safari browser, Photos, Screenshots, Quick Look, Safari, the Files App, and other features.
How To Use:
To use the feature in the Photos app, users simply need to have an image with a visibly clear subject. After selecting, long-press on the subject and it will be lifted from the background. The feature can be used similarly in Files, Safari, Quick Look and screenshots.
According to Apple, the tool to remove background work in any application that has an image across iOS. Users can long-press images shared with them on messages and instantly remove the background.
Seamless Integration
Once an image is separated from its background, users can drag it anywhere across iOS. One can drag images to iMessage to make conversations more interesting. Images can also be dragged to iMovie to make a new background.
According to 9to5Mac, the biggest limitation seems to be the inability to save the new image as a separate file in the Photos App or in Files. However, the sole way to save the image is to send it as an image on iMessage and later save it Photos from the message or copy it to Notes App and save it from there.
