If you like extra headroom in your home, this three-acre Hawaiian estate is perfect for you. The home was commissioned by NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in 1986 (it was expanded in 2009). It features extra high ceilings and doorways to accommodate the 7'2 NBA Hall of Famer.

Located on the island of Kilauea, it is currently on the market for $5.9 million (Rs 32 crore approx). The gated retreat is a tropical paradise.

It is part of an exclusive neighbourhood near the Kilauea Lighthouse and National Wildlife Refuge. There is a main house, carriage house and pool pavilion on 3.4 richly-landscaped acres.

You can relax by the custom pool, enjoy the tennis court, wander in the large orchard (which includes breadfruit, avocado, star fruit, apple, mango and citrus trees) or just enjoy the ocean views.

You can even visit the mini waterfall or take a private trail to the popular Secret Beach, which has made it on the lists of sexiest beaches in the world.
