Inside Anupama Parameswaran’s Kerala home: Premam star’s elegant house features pure Keralite architecture, minimalistic decor and an indoor pond

Anupama Parameswaran is one of the most sought-after names down South today. The actress, who made her debut with the Malayalam romantic film Premam in 2015, has established herself not just in the Malayalam film industry but in the Tollywood and Tamil film industries as well. A Times of India report shared a glimpse of her lovely home in Kerala.

The house’s exterior is authentic Keralite architecture and meshes well with the greenery around her home. It has a sloped roof, and the decor and hue are not intricate but earthy. In a video shared by a fan named Shanaz Shanu on YouTube, the exterior of the home seems to be a graceful blend of ivory and chocolate brown hues.The interior is elegant and minimalistic, with off-white walls. Her living room boasts of a humongous brown L-shaped sofa, two single-seater sofas and a magnificent wooden centre table. In another video on YouTube shared by a channel called Cinema Edition, where the actress is shown in a playful mood, there are glimpses of transparent, long white curtains, off white walls. A clip shared by another channel Mixedmagic official on YouTube, shares glimpses of marble floor, a wall deocorated with grey and black patterns.

In a video shared on YouTube by a channel called m4z online media, we can see a beautiful butterfly engraved on wood outside of her home. On top of the column that sports the engraving, there is a little statue of a lion made possibly from red brick. The house is surrounded by a beautiful green garden which features colourful flowers and artfully placed rocks. The front of the house is masqueraded by two huge palm trees.


There are numerous large sliding doors all across her home to ensure plenty of light and air circulation. True to the actress’s no-fuss, no extravagance approach to decor, the rest of the house does not boast of much decor and features basic home decor objects such as vases and lamps and dark wooden cabinets. In one of her Instagram pictures, it is evident that the house also features a serene pond, located probably in the courtyard.

The majority of the materials in the kitchen are constructed of marble, and the space is decorated with beige, white, and brown hues. It also has a light brown dining table with a white marble top that can accommodate six people.

According to a Magic Bricks report, the house is located in Irinjalakuda, Thrissur district, Kerala.

Anupama achieved her breakthrough through the 2015 romantic drama Premam. Thereafter, she appeared in several hit movies such as Karthikeya 2, Kodi, Tillu Square, Dragon and Paradha. She will next be seen in the Telugu crime thriller Mareechika along with Regena Cassandra and Viraj Ashwin.

Recently, Anupama made headlines when she opened up on a two-year abusive relationship with an actor. Although she declined to name him, she revealed she faced "narcissistic abuse” from her ex-boyfriend.

The actress described having a number of health issues during the relationship, including panic attacks, blackouts, extreme weight loss, and an eye disease that ultimately required surgery, during a discussion on the I AM With Dhanya Varma show.

Anupama stated that she had never had such issues before and clarified that her physical health started to suffer as a result of the ongoing stress and anxiety.
