The Spanish company, Kustom has made a luxury addition to the world of smart phones. The latest EGO smartphone claims to merge the opulence of jewellery with cutting edge technology.

Ego is that part of the psyche which is defined as oneself; it is the experience of the outside world combined with the reactions to the experience. Taking inspiration from this definition, the brand has created the original line of smartphones.

The phone is completely customisable, and buyers can opt for different materials for the body as well as the ring. Silver, gold and even gemstones can be added to this gadget.

Kustom has used state-of-the-art technology to create software with precision. It protects and encrypts information from your phone using a Kustom ID account.

The phone has features like a high-speed dual core Snapdragon processor, and applications like Swiftkey. The Kustom phone is a limited edition gadget with only 977 pieces created.

Priced at €8,977 (approx Rs 6.2 lakhs), each piece is handcrafted and comes with a guarantee certificate and a personal serial number.

The EGO flaunts a 5-inch screen, 2GB RAM and LTE/4G connectivity. It also has a 32 GB internal memory and an 8 MP back-camera and 1.3 MP front-camera.

Motorola has launched its 2nd Gen Moto E in India within a month of its international announcement. The phone has a 4.5-inch display (960 x 540 pixels) protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and comes out of the box with Android 5.0 Lollipop.

It is powered by a quad core Snapdragon 410 processor with 1GB RAM and has 8GB storage. You also get dual cameras (5MP rear, VGA front), microSD slot for expansion (up to 32GB supported) and a 2,390mAh battery.

Other features include 4G connectivity, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, radio, accelerometer and proximity sensor.
