In an Instagram Reel shared by Shivan, the duo could be seen holding the India flag from both ends and raising it high from various locations in Spain. In less than 24 hours, the video got more than 231K likes.
The 36-year-old film-maker wishes all his 2.7 million followers and 'all Indians across the globe' on Instagram a 'Happy Independence Day'. "Let’s celebrate this day with a lot of pride and happiness! For being an Indian citizen, we all should feel blessed! The most free, safest, democratic, secured and happy home in the world is our country," his post read.

Two months after their wedding, Nayanthara-Vignesh headed on their second honeymoon to Spain. Shivan revealed that it was time for a break after weeks of non-stop work. He also shared adorable pictures with his wife, flying first class.

On July 21, streaming giant Netflix officially announced the documentary on the couple's love story and wedding. Titled 'Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale', the documentary has been directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon and produced by Rowdy Pictures.
On the work front, the 37-year-old actress was last seen in 'Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal' on the big screen. Her last OTT outing was survival drama 'O2' that premiered on Disney+ Hotstar.

Nayanthara will be next seen in 'GodFather' alongside South star Mohanlal. The film is slated to release on the occasion of Dussehra 2022. She will also star in director Atlee's next action thriller film 'Jawaan' opposite Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, which is all set to hit the theatres on June 2, 2023.
