Indian startup: How CEOs exchange notes


The Indian startup space is a relatively small community, where most founders know each other and even exchange notes. So is the case with TranServ’s founder Anish Williams, former banker with HSBC.

Williams, who heads a digital prepaid payment management company, says he’s enjoyed networking with fellow startup founders. Apart from having great conversations with Kunal Bahl of Snapdeal, he is fond of talking to ShopClues’ Sanjay Sethi. However, he’s good friends with Ashish Hemrajani of Bookmyshow. “I connect with him quite frequently. We sort of exchange notes. Ashish also, to some extent, has been giving me tips about the company, which has been interesting,” he said.
