Indian Motorcycle unveils new FTR 1200 S in India at Rs 16 lakh
The American niche bike maker also introduced FTR 1200 S Race Replica at Rs 18 lakh.

Indian Motorcycle announced a tie-up with Orix India to offer its models on lease.
NEW DELHI: American niche bike maker Indian Motorcycle on Monday launched its all new model FTR 1200 S in India priced at Rs 15.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The company, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Polaris Industries, also introduced FTR 1200 S Race Replica in the country priced at Rs 17.99 lakh.
Besides, the super bike maker announced a tie-up with Orix India to offer its models on lease.
"We continually seek to broaden Indian Motorcycle's reach to a wider range of riders and FTR represents a significant step forward in that strategy," Polaris India MD and Country Head Pankaj Dubey told reporters here.
With these two models, the company now has bikes which have the DNA of flat track racing but are designed for the street, he added.

"We have tied up with Orix India, making it possible for all bike enthusiasts, who could not own an Indian bike earlier, to lease it," Dubey said.

The FTR series bikes come with liquid cooled 1203 cc engine that generates peak power of 123 hp.
The bike comes with various features including a 4.3-inch touchscreen with bluetooth that can be operated even with gloves on.
Besides, it has three ride modes with different throttle response and traction control intervention levels.
