A video of a father advising his son to just get things done without complaint and dilly-dallying has gone viral on social media. Taking to X on Friday, a user named Sadie shared a video of a father telling his son not to waste time pondering over his feelings and just complete his tasks.

The video, which was recorded by career coach Abhishek Gupta, shows him telling his son, “Shivansh, nobody cares about your feelings.”

Gupta’s son is seen telling his father, “But Papa, what if I am tired, scared, anxious, or stressed?” to which he is told, “Do it anyways.”


Gupta went on to emphasise on the importance of divorcing feelings from actions. “It’s the most important superpower you can have. Losers follow feelings, winners follow a plan,” stated Gupta.
